Academic Curriculum The Department of Global Health, University College of London has partnered with the Society for Health and Demographic Surveillance (SHDS to develop the curriculum for the MPH program and provide technical expertise in designing the course content, pedagogy and other requisite academic inputs. This key partnership has allowed cutting-edge global relevance of the curriculum interspersed with the right mix of the state’s typical scenario and priorities. Course duration -2 years, 4 semesters (6months each) 60 credits (1 credit corresponds to 15 contact hours) Admission Criteria Indian Nationals (Age criteria < 40 years) Completed graduate degree in medicine (MBBS or equivalent) Or Completed post graduate degree in social and natural sciences (Anthropology, Botany, Economics, Geography, Physiology, Rural Development, Sociology, Zoology etc) Fellowship   As a publicly-funded Institute, course fees are not charged from students. All students admitted to this course are provided a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000 by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal. In-service medical personnel under the West Bengal State Health Services can avail of their usual pay and allowances once enrolled in the programme.   Campus
